Festival Portraits
In this photo project from Garbicz festival 2024, photographer Aleksander Moskwa created a collection of raw and intimate portraits. With the simple rules of one person, one photo, and black and white analog film, he aimed to capture the essence of each individual he met.
During Garbicz Festival 2024 and 2025 (coming soon), I have been creating portrait photographs of people, seeking to capture authentic moments of human connection in the festival environment.
Photographs created on analog film, among others I used Adox CMS 20 for that stark gritty contrast that defines the aesthetic of this series.
Photo Series Context
This portrait series captures the essence of individuals in a festival environment, creating intimate connections through black and white analog photography. Each portrait is taken with a deliberate approach, allowing the personality of the subject to emerge naturally.
