Body as Canvas

In this project I wanted to explore light in relation to the juxtaposition of curves of the feminine body, and sharp steel of a sword. These photos were created during a photographic event in Studio Dekadencja near Katowice.

Model is being lit by a single strong light source, and the darkness envelops everything that light does not explicitly touch. This approach creates dramatic compositions that reveal and conceal form.

Inspired by classical sculpture and contemporary body art, these images seek to elevate the human figure beyond the literal into a sculptural abstraction of light and shadow.
